An awesome couple of days.
We went to Sentosa island Tuesday. We were picked up by bus at 1.30 and returned around 9 ish on Tuesday evening. We were taken to the Singapore flyer where we paid for our tickets and then changed bus. Whilst on the bus a lady from the office questioned whether Steve could manage the stairs and mentioned there was a lot of walking. Thank goodness we weren't put off by this. There was some lifts and wheelchair access and the walking was manageable. We all had a wonderful day.
A cable car ride took us to the island. Bit scary but a great view. We went through the aquarium, Steve sat that one out. The boys then had some lunch while Donna and I went to the pink dolphin show. It was great. We then met up with the boys and took the bus back to where the laser light show was going to be held. We had a couple of drinks and a yummy hot dog, then the show which was awesome. Home in the bus and downstairs in the mall in the hotel and we had Chicken rice for about 3.50 each. Yum!!
Off to bed to get ready for our next day!!
Wednesday
Breakfast and then a rest. We all seem to be tired after our leisurely breakfasts and much laughter. Dougie had an upset tummy so he stayed at the hotel, Steve went off in a taxi to do his thing and Donna and I went in a taxi to the Gardens by the Bay. What an experience. If you come to Singapore it is a must. The flowers and trees and gardens were just awesome. I got right out if my comfort zone and did the walk in the clouds and also a walk between two towers on a suspended bridge. Very proud of myself as I don't like heights.
I can't get the photos off my camera but will post when I get home. Brought the wrong adaptor !!
We arrived home and you guessed it, had a rest and the. Out for Japanese dinner and Haagen Dazs ice cream. The dinner was awesome. Donna ordered for us, miso soup and various sushi and Japanese fried rice, prawns and prawn sushi for Dougie. He enjoyed it.
An early night again....ready for the next adventure!!!!
Photos....view from Donna and Steve's room, view from ours!! They were upgraded to the premier room!! Ha ha
